Having helped launch the career of country music superstar, Blake Shelton, with her song "Austin", LUIS' friend, Kirsti Manna (Owner, Kirsti Mannasongs) was the perfect person to reach out to for a set of playlists for With Love, LUIS attendees! She commissioned her newest up and coming artist, Lukas Scott to collaborate, and together they curated a selection of songs for your wedding planning weekend in Downtown Nashville. Like what you heard? You'll be able to meet Pop/Country Singer & Songwriter, Lukas Scott at the music-related Speaker Series and see him in action in an exclusive performance of"Mrs. Me" at the bridal stroll!
Lukas co-wrote the song for his (then) girlfriend as part of his proposal. It worked like a champ - that's them in the photo to the left.
The song is co-written with hit songwriters Kirsti Manna and Lynn Wilbanks, a Nashville - native whose diverse songwriting catalog includes cuts by Dolly Parton, Mark O’Connor, the Nashville Symphony, CMT artist Jimmy Charles, Clayton Risner, and most recently, the title track cut, Life Of The Party, with The Voice / Team Blake’s artist, Kristi Hoopes.
